The strength of any artist is not merely their own ability to create something original and aesthetically pleasing, it also lies in the painstaking work of everyone not only in front of the camera, but also behind the scenes. Although I don't have the space here to personally thank everyone who has been part of the journey that has been my portfolio, I would like to take the time to thank the following people.
To my parents, thank you for instilling me with the need to see beauty and equipping me with the tools to capture it. Without your constant love and support, there is no way I would've ever picked up a camera. I love you guys forever.
To Angela Liang, you were the first model who I ever shot. You took a chance on working with me and without the success of our work together, I never would've continued beyond the experimentation of putting someone pretty in front of my lens. You're also a wonderfully supportive friend and my favourite stylist. Thank you.
To Harmony Nicholas and Jenni White, both of you influenced me greatly with your incredible photography, but it was through you both that I came to understand the brilliance and intricacies of Photoshop. You both helped me so much during my formative years as a photographer to bring my work to a level so much higher than it had ever been before. You are both very important people to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
To my fellow photographers, there are simply too many of you to name, but if we've ever spoken about photography then you know who you are. Thank you for always being so welcoming when I ask about what lenses, lighting, photoshop techniques or other skills you're using. I can't thank you all enough for the help you've given me to get to this point.
To the incredible models I've worked with, thank you for taking a chance on shooting with the strange white guy in the ripped jeans. I've had the incredible pleasure of working with amazing models with beautiful souls. Special thanks to my dear friends; Lauren Vickers, Cam Tu Nguyen, Jae 'Silent Hill' Lin, Rachael Lappin, Mishti Morgan, Lina Lau, Sarah Elliott, Alicia Kelly, Ching Chen, Shani Jayamayasomethingethnic, Salem Sipes, Melissa Grisby, Kyla Gray, Yvette Li, and everyone else who has helped shape my portfolio with their tireless work.
To my friends and those who support my work, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support. Photography is a vital outlet for me and when I receive your words of support, it makes every hour spent shooting or editing worth while. I hope you'll all continue to take the time to engage with me and my work when you get the chance. I do so appreciate your involvement in what I create, and for that, I thank you dearly.
...without you, I'm nothing
